NDIS

NDIS, or the National Disability Insurance Scheme, is a significant social reform initiative in Australia. It provides support and funding to individuals with permanent and significant disabilities. The scheme aims to empower participants by giving them more control over the supports and services they receive. NDIS operates on principles of individualized support, early intervention, and a lifelong approach to disability support. It allows eligible individuals to choose and purchase disability-related services that best meet their needs. The ultimate goal of NDIS is to improve the quality of life and outcomes for people with disabilities by promoting independence, inclusion, and participation in the community.

At 2Y Mental Health, I provide free psychological services (no out-of-pocket costs) for those on the NDIS. I offer a full range of mental health treatments for people living with disabilities, including depression, anxiety, motivation, confidence, social connectedness, anger management, relationship and family issues, drug abuse and enter the workforce. My services on NDIS psychology include counselling for adults and children, NDIS plan renewals, cognitive and functional assessments as well as diagnostic assessments. I also work collaboratively with your support team (such as your GP, specialists, support workers and family) to ensure you’re getting consistent care. Together, we will help to increase your wellbeing, independence, daily living skills, and confidence.
