What Is Past Life Regression?
Past Life Regression (PLR) is a therapeutic process offered within hypnotherapy where clients enter a calm, focused state of awareness and allow their subconscious mind to bring forward experiences that feel connected to another lifetime. For some, these are experienced as vivid “memories.” For others, they unfold more like dreams, stories, or metaphors. Regardless of how you interpret them—whether literal past lives or symbolic expressions—the focus of PLR is on the emotions and insights that arise.
When we carry unresolved emotional patterns—fear of abandonment, deep guilt, unexplainable grief, or even strong attraction/repulsion toward certain people—these feelings can influence our current relationships, behaviours, and self-understanding. PLR provides a safe way to give these emotions a “voice” and to explore them in a guided, compassionate setting.
It’s important to note that the therapeutic value of PLR does not depend on whether the experiences are historically “real.” Instead, its power lies in emotional processing and symbolic meaning.
